When we hear the word ‘artist’, we imagine a person holding a brush and paints in his hands and drawing something on the canvas. But do you know that not all artists draw paintings using their hands? Of course, there are people who do not have hands, then they hold the brush in the mouth or pinch with their toes, you might say. But there are artists whose hands are just fine, but still, they don’t draw with their hands. They found other ways of self-expression, other methods of presenting their artwork. And their pictures are successful, though not everyone would agree that these paintings can be called Art in the full sense of the word. Chinese artist Xiang Chen paints his pictures, holding a brush with his eye and moving it with the eyeball. He inserts a special device in his eye, grips it with his eyelids and cornea and paints calligraphic characters on a piece of paper. This unique artist discovered his talent at the age of 16, when a young man noticed that his eyes did not feel pain when a foreign body got there. Doctors argue that his eyes don’t differ from eyes of ordinary people.

Artist Ani K also advocates that drawing with hands is boring. He paints with his tongue. At first it was very hard, because the organism was literally poisoned with the paint fumes. It took several months to create a single painting. Now the artist has adapted well to this method of self-expression and he draws pictures in a few days.

The artist Millie Brown also doesn’t draw with her hands. She drinks tinted liquids, and then vomits on the canvas. Thus obtained colored blots are smeared. These abstract paintings are highly demanded and cost thousands of dollars.

The artist Natalie Irish adapted to paint with a lipstick, putting it on the canvas with kisses. And surprisingly, she produces really authentic pictures.It takes a few hours for creating a picture like this, more than a thousand kisses and a few tubes of lipstick. This technique is particularly good in painting portraits. The artist paints her lips with a bright lipstick and starts to kiss a clean sheet of paper.
